This year ICAR has decided to organize its workshop from 12 to 14 June 2017 in Ischia. The main theme, but not the only one of the appointment, was Cognitive Computing. Among the guests Emilio Fortunato Campana – Director DIITET, Prof. Hamido Fujita Director of Intelligent Software Laboratory Iwate Prefectural University (IPU) Iwate, Japan, Fabrizio Renzi – Research Manager – IBM Italy and Prof. Angelo Cangelosi Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Cognition School of Computing and Mathematics, Plymouth University (UK).
Also this year the Workshop was an important moment of confrontation among ICAR researchers and an opportunity to confront with well-known international personalities on ICAR’s own issues of research.
We were really pleased to receive the appreciation of our department director who wanted to thank us for the invitation with these words: “… your institute is really made up of smart colleagues, and I was very happy to meet you.”
