MONEYING-PLUS is a project funded under the PR Calabria FESR FSE+ 2021-2027 programme and aimed at developing an advanced Artificial Intelligence platform for RegTech and AML analysis, with applications in financial compliance, risk management, and the fight against money laundering and illicit financing.
The project represents an evolution of the Moneying platform, which is already focused on the analysis of financial transactions and communications through Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques. MONEYING-PLUS expands these functionalities by introducing tools for financial Big Data analysis, the identification of criminal communities, dynamic risk profiling, the assessment of Key Risk Indicators, and the automated management of requests from Law Enforcement Agencies.
Within the project, CNR-ICAR participates as a scientific partner, providing expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, knowledge representation, and high-performance systems. ICAR’s contribution concerns the development and application of advanced methodologies for data analysis, the recognition of suspicious patterns, risk modelling, and intelligent support for decision-making processes in the AML and RegTech domains.
