The 19st edition of the ICAR Workshop was organized by the Rende branch and took place from September 6 to 8, 2023, at the TUI MAGIC LIFE in Vibo Valentia.

The scientific program included invited talks from prominent experts, such as Fabrizio Silvestri (Sapienza University of Rome), Alfredo Pulvirenti (University of Catania), Cesare Furlanello (LIGHT Center in Brescia), Francesco Plastina (University of Calabria), and Laura Ricci (University of Pisa). These experts addressed innovative topics such as neural databases, knowledge graphs for biomedical applications, the risks and opportunities of the AI Act, quantum algorithms, and distributed ledger technology.

The workshop featured two poster sessions, dedicated to the activities of young researchers, as well as moments of discussion on the organization and progress of ICAR.

The event concluded with reflections on the Institute’s performance and future prospects to strengthen its role in the landscape of research and innovation.
