REGINA: Integrated Genomics Network For New Applications In Precision Medicine

The REGINA project (Integrated Genomics Network for New Applications in Precision Medicine) aims to establish a Genomics infrastructure for Personalized Medicine with a distributed network model across the national territory. This infrastructure will provide the Ministry of Health and National Health Service facilities with the most advanced technologies and analytical systems in the field of genomic data acquisition and their application to precision medicine.

The project’s operational architecture is based on the existing and fully operational CNR infrastructure for Genomics and Bioinformatics applied to Biomedicine, equipped with cutting-edge resources. It includes autonomous local management resources and distributed expertise for the analysis of genomic data, with the goal of characterizing genomic alterations related to complex diseases across different application areas.
