Project: H2IOSC – Humanities and cultural Heritage Italian Open Science Cloud

Description: The H2IOSC project aims to support the implementation of a coherent strategy for the development and integration of Research Infrastructures (IR) in Italy, optimizing the use of the most relevant assets, strengthening and implementing facilities, following needs emerging from the research communities reference. H2IOSC services will address the needs of most disciplines across the Social & Cultural Innovation spectrum and beyond. To promote accessibility and the FAIR approach, a single and easily accessible place will be created, where users will find software, tools, datasets, services/pilot projects to support the specific needs of domain/cross-domain research. H2IOSC will promote a data-centric approach, where resources will be available in an integrated environment through virtual and remote access methods. It will also promote training and engagement activities to develop FAIR and Open Science skills, increase the visibility of IR at a national/international level, create new profiles to support data-driven research and the digital transformation of the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries.
