Project ALCMAEON – A Multidimensional Big Data Analytics Platform for Supporting Predictive Analysis and Mining over Clinical and Medical (Big) Data on Alzheimer’s Disease Patients
The involvement pertains to the activities of OR3 “Definition and design of new Artificial Intelligence algorithms to support the diagnosis and therapy of Alzheimer’s Disease.” Specifically, the main objective of this OR is the study, definition, and modeling of AI techniques such as Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL), to support the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, both as an early detection tool in the context of so-called precision medicine, as well as a personalized medicine tool for Alzheimer’s disease patients, supporting care and therapeutic treatment.
The OR is divided into two activities:
- Activity 3.1: Data-driven AI techniques and algorithms for the diagnosis and therapy of Alzheimer’s Disease
- Activity 3.2: AI techniques and algorithms for early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease
