I am an information engineer with a B.Sc. in Information Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in data assimilation and variational Bayesian algorithms. My main research interests are in probabilistic machine learning, with a focus on quantifying uncertainty in the predictions of physical (dynamical) systems. Since 2019, I have been based in Italy, working as a scientific researcher at ICAR-CNR on big data and AI problems. Previously, I held academic positions and worked as a data scientist at the Central Laser Facility in Oxford.
