Marco Lanuzza obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering (VO) with a score of 110/110 and a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of
“Mediterranea” Studies of Reggio Calabria, in 2000 and 2005 respectively. He belongs to the Department of Computer Engineering, Modelling, Electronics and Systems (DIMES) of the University of Calabria, where he holds the role of Associate Professor for the disciplinary scientific sector ING- INF/01-Electronics, as well as a member of the department council representing associate professors. He obtained the qualification
National Scientific Institute for the first level in the competitive sector 09/E3 – Electronics in December 2019. In the years 2001-2002, he worked at Marconi Mobile Ltd (currently Leonardo S.p.A., a Finmeccanica group company), as a hardware designer for the “Tetra-Radiomobile R&D” research and development division. During the year 2004, he was a “Visiting Scholar” at the “Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering” of the “University of Rochester”, USA. In 2019, he was a visiting Professor at the Emerging Nanoscaled Integrated Circuits and Systems (EnICS) Labs of Bar-Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel. In 2023, as part of a mobility program at his university, he was ” Visiting Professor” at the “Institut Supérieur d’Électronique de Paris (ISEP)”, Paris, France.
Starting from the 2005-06 academic year, M. Lanuzza held courses in the disciplinary scientific sector ING-INF/01-Electronics, at the University of Calabria and other Italian and foreign universities. M. Lanuzza has been a Senior Member of the IEEE since 2016. His main research interests are the design of CMOS digital/analog integrated circuits for low-power and/or high-speed signal processing, reconfigurable circuits, and circuits/systems optimized for emerging nanotechnologies. He is the author/co-author of over 150 scientific articles, published both in journals and in conference proceedings of international importance. M. Lanuzza held the role of member of the local organizing committee of the INFOS 2021 international conference and the role of “Program Chair” for the international conference IEEE PRIME-LA 2023. Furthermore, he held the role of member of the technical program committee for numerous conferences of international importance in his area of ​​expertise. He has been co-Guest Editor of special issues of international journals (SSE, Electronics, Sensors) and is part of the Editorial Board (with the role of Associate Editor) of the journal “Integration, the VLSI Journal” of Elsevier, and the journal ” International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications” by Wiley.
