The Italian National Unification (UNI) has published the technical report “Medical Informatics – Architectural models for the development of integrated software applications for healthcare” as a national technical standard (n. UNI / TR 11794: 2020). working group of the UNINFO Commission of Medical Informatics coordinated by the CNR-ICAR. The technical report outlines a guide to support Public Administrations and software application suppliers for the healthcare sector, in order to encourage the development of software systems in an ecosystem perspective, consisting of models, services and platforms adhering to the main international standards of health informatics.
