TIRS: Industrial Transition And Resilience Of Post-Covid19 Societies

Abstract

The scientific community can and must contribute to developing new technologies and intelligent decision-making supports capable of generating manufacturing competitiveness, accompanied by greater sustainability and resilience of societies, promoting the transformation and transition of our production systems. Our research activities must focus on developing intelligent digital technologies, energy efficiency projects, distributed renewable sources, advanced manufacturing technologies, manufacturing, sustainable mobility, and urban planning and management, starting from criteria and principles of circular economy and sustainability. The integrated study of systems (health, social, urban, industrial), always treated as separate blocks, becomes the real interdisciplinary challenge to be addressed, and in this framework, the CNR can involve all the necessary skills.
