ICAR-CNR At Security Summit Naples 2026

Director Fabio Martinelli will take part in the plenary session dedicated to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, research and development in Southern Italy.

Naples, 28 May 2026 – ICAR-CNR, the Institute for High Performance Computing and Networking of the National Research Council of Italy, will take part in Security Summit Naples 2026, scheduled for 28 May at Città della Scienza.

Promoted by Clusit, the event will bring together representatives from research, institutions, companies and cybersecurity professionals, with a specific focus on the challenges of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital resilience for Campania and Southern Italy.

Fabio Martinelli, Director of ICAR-CNR, will speak during the plenary session “Campania Ecosystem: Cybercrime & AI between Innovation, Research and Development”, which will involve representatives from academia, research, regional institutions and the innovation ecosystem.

Throughout the day, the programme will address highly topical issues, including the protection of critical access points, digital sovereignty, cyber risk management, the impact of NIS2 and DORA regulations, and the resilience of digital infrastructures. A dedicated round table will also focus on cybersecurity in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
