Artificial Intelligence and Data Science<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Institute’s research activities in the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science area include<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. theoretical, experimental, and applied aspects related to next-generation systems capable of learning, extracting knowledge, reasoning, explaining proposed solutions, and adapting to dynamic contexts, demonstrating neuromorphic problem-solving capabilities and natural and personalized human interaction, integrating emotional and social aspects;<\/li>\n
  2. the study of methods, models, algorithms, approaches, and languages \u200b\u200bfor managing, analyzing, extracting knowledge, and forecasting from complex and heterogeneous data, such as text, images, videos, biological data, networks, structured data, geo-referenced, multimedia, and multidimensional data, which vary over time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Specifically, the activities aim to investigate a set of topics related to cutting-edge and challenging research areas in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Each of these topics receives contributions from one or more of the Institute’s research groups, and each group contributes to multiple topics.<\/p>\n

    The fields of application of the research conducted in this thematic area are diverse, ranging from e-health to precision medicine, from bioinformatics to cultural heritage, from robotics to Industry 4.0, from public administration to ambient intelligence, from business analytics to logistics, from decision support to content management and use, from social network analysis to advanced information filtering, and aerospace.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]Involved Groups: <\/strong><\/p>\n
