The first edition of the workshop on quantum AI: QAI – Case Studies and Applications in Real World Scenarios took place for the first time in Italy, in Napoli, on Tuesday, November 5th, within the 2025 IEEE International Conference on Quantum Artificial Intelligence. This workshop explored the rapidly evolving field of Quantum AI, with a focus on practical applications and real-world implementations. Participants gained insights into how quantum algorithms can enhance machine learning models, optimize complex systems, and solve problems that are currently intractable for classical computers. Through a series of case studies and applications, the workshop highlighted successful deployments and ongoing research in sectors such as finance, healthcare, logistics, and cybersecurity. Both researchers and professionals had the opportunity to deepen both the theoretical foundations and practical implications of Quantum AI in today’s technological landscape.
