Yaroslav D. Sergeyev is Full Professor of Numerical Analysis at the Department of Computer Engineering, Modeling, Electronics and Systems Engineering at the University of Calabria. He is President of the International Society for Global Optimization. He has received several international awards and acknowledgments. He is the author of many books and international scientific publications.

With the researchers of the ICAR, Professor Yaroslav D. Sergeyev deals with models and methods of global optimization as well as with new smart models concerning the data represented by infinite, finite and infinitesimal numbers. Yaroslav D. Sergeyev is involved in the activities of the research group Social and Complex Data Intelligence.
